CLIENT RULES, BOOKING, CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

To ensure our classes run smoothly, fairly and sustainably for everyone, please read and follow the following rules before making a booking.

1. BOOKINGS & PAYMENT

• All classes, workshops and private lessons must be booked and paid for in advance.

• Your place is only guaranteed once payment has been received.

• All prices for European College of Dance (ECD) private lessons and workshops are listed in GBP (£).

• Bookings for classes must be made no later than 1 hour before the class starts.

• Customers will not be able to book a class less than 1 hour before the scheduled start time.

• If you are not booked into a class, please do not attend. We may not be able to admit you, or you may be required to pay the applicable single-class fee.

 

 

2. CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING

• Class bookings may be cancelled or rescheduled by the client up to 5 minutes before the class starts.

• If you cancel within the permitted cancellation period, you may reschedule your booking in accordance with the applicable class or membership terms.

• Once the cancellation deadline has passed, the booking will be treated as a late cancellation/non-attendance.

 

 

3. MISSED CLASSES & NON-ATTENDANCE

If you book a class and do not attend:

• The class will be considered a missed class.

• No make-up class or credit will be provided for missed group classes or workshops.

• For membership holders, one day will be deducted from your membership, where applicable.

• If you know that you cannot attend, please cancel your booking within the permitted cancellation period so that another client has the opportunity to take your place.

 

 

4. GROUP CLASSES & WORKSHOPS

Please note that there are no make-up classes or credits for classes or workshops missed by the client.

This applies whether the client is unable to attend because of personal circumstances, illness, travel, work commitments or any other reason.

 

 

5. PRIVATE LESSONS

Private lessons must be booked and paid for in advance.

Once a private lesson has been booked, no refund will be provided for client cancellations, except where ECD agrees otherwise or where ECD is required to cancel the lesson and a mutually convenient alternative time cannot be arranged.

Where possible, clients should provide as much notice as possible if they are unable to attend.

 

 

6. REFUNDS

All bookings are considered final once payment has been made.

No refunds are available for:

• Group classes that have been booked

• Workshops that have been booked

• Private lessons that have been booked

• Gift certificates that have been purchased

• Classes or workshops missed by the client

A refund will only be considered where ECD cancels the class, workshop or private lesson and an alternative mutually convenient date or time cannot be arranged.

 

 

7. GIFT CERTIFICATES

Gift certificates are non-refundable once purchased.

Please ensure that you are happy with your purchase before completing payment.

 

 

8. ARRIVING FOR CLASS

Please arrive in sufficient time to prepare for your class.

If you are not booked into the class, please do not attend without contacting ECD first. We reserve the right to refuse entry where a class is fully booked or where the appropriate booking/payment has not been made.

 

 

9. FAIRNESS TO ALL CLIENTS

Our prices are kept as affordable as possible, and we are proud to be one of the most affordable dance schools in London.

Our cancellation and booking policies help us:

• Keep our classes affordable

• Manage class capacity effectively

• Give other students the opportunity to book available spaces

• Ensure our teachers can plan classes properly

• Keep the school running fairly and sustainably

 

 

By booking a class, workshop or private lesson with ECD, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these rules.
